Among our chalets in Chamonix, the properties in Argentière stand out for their Alpine character, generous interiors, refined finishes and carefully considered amenities. Designed for families and larger groups, they offer spacious bedrooms, inviting living areas and spectacular panoramic mountain views, creating a comfortable setting for both shared moments and quieter time together.
Depending on the property, wellness facilities may include indoor pools, hot tubs, saunas and, in selected chalets, hammams or cinema rooms. Guests can also choose between self-catering and catered chalets, with fully equipped kitchens for greater independence or in-chalet dining prepared by private chef.
Villanovo’s chalets in Argentière are set in carefully chosen locations, with selected properties within easy reach of the village centre and the Plan Joran gondola for access to the Grands Montets ski area. Others enjoy more elevated or south-facing positions, with open views across the surrounding peaks and towards Mont Blanc.
Beyond Argentière, our collection extends across the Chamonix Valley to Chamonix Centre, Les Praz, Les Bossons, Les Pècles and Les Houches, offering a variety of settings from lively village surroundings to quieter residential areas. This allows guests to choose the location that best suits their stay, whether the priority is proximity to the slopes, easy access to amenities or greater tranquillity.
Every stay in Argentière is accompanied by Villanovo’s dedicated concierge team, with each arrangement carefully shaped around individual preferences. Before arrival, our concierge can coordinate airport transfers, ski passes and equipment, as well as restaurant reservations.
During the stay, a private chef can be arranged for personalised in-chalet dining, alongside wellness treatments such as private massages. Families can also benefit from carefully selected activities and advice on mountain experiences suited to different ages. Throughout the stay, the concierge remains available to adapt arrangements with care and discretion, creating an experience that feels considered and entirely personal.
Staying in Argentière gives guests easy access to some of the Chamonix Valley’s most renowned ski terrain, with direct access to the Grands Montets area and striking views towards Mont Blanc. Selected chalets are just a few minutes’ walk from the lifts, making it easy to begin a day on the slopes before returning to the comfort and privacy of the chalet.
Beyond skiing, the valley offers a wide range of experiences for families, couples and groups. Guests can explore Chamonix, take the cable car to the Aiguille du Midi, enjoy snowshoe walks, book guided mountain outings or spend time in local spas and restaurants. The peaceful village of Montroc offers a quieter setting nearby, while scenic walks and family-friendly activities provide alternatives for non-skiers.
In summer, Argentière becomes an excellent base for hiking, mountain biking and glacier walks, with routes through forests, Alpine meadows and high-mountain landscapes. Days can also be shaped around picnics, panoramic viewpoints and excursions across the wider Chamonix Valley, offering a more relaxed way to experience the mountains beyond the winter season.
