A private pool is central to outdoor life in many of our Balearic villas. Depending on the property, it may be heated or designed as an infinity pool, with sun loungers, palm trees and shaded terraces arranged around it. Some villas also benefit from stunning sea views, while outdoor dining areas provide a natural setting for meals throughout the summer.
Inside, properties typically offer comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and generous living spaces. Selected homes also feature additional amenities such as a jacuzzi, hammam, sauna or fitness room.
Some properties are designed for independent family stays, while others include house staff or offer a private chef on request.
In Majorca, Villanovo’s villas are spread across several distinct areas, from the Serra de Tramuntana and the countryside around Pollensa to Palma, Alcudia and the south-east of the island.
Around Palma, our Palma villas provide access to the capital and surrounding coastline. Further north, Pollensa and Alcudia combine beaches with traditional towns, while the Tramuntana offers mountain landscapes and more secluded settings. Around Santanyí and Cala d’Or, countryside and coastal villas provide another option for a family holiday close to the sea.
On Menorca, Villanovo’s properties are located around Ciutadella, Mahón, Fornells and other coastal and rural areas. Our Menorca villas with private pools provide a private base for exploring the island’s quieter landscapes.
Some villas lie close to the coast, while others sit further inland among countryside and traditional stone walls. Ciutadella and Mahón provide access to restaurants, markets and historic centres, while smaller coastal areas place guests closer to coves and stretches of white sand. This combination gives Menorca its unique charm and a particularly picturesque setting.
In Ibiza, Villanovo’s villas in Ibiza extend from the countryside around Sant Josep and Santa Gertrudis to coastal areas and locations closer to Ibiza Town. This gives visitors the choice between secluded homes, villas near the beach and properties with easier access to the island’s main centres.
Ibiza Town brings together the marina and old town, while inland areas offer a quieter landscape of pine-covered hills and traditional villages. The island attracts people every year for its combination of beaches, countryside, restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Formentera, reached by ferry from Ibiza, offers a quieter counterpoint with clear waters and a smaller scale.
Villanovo’s dedicated concierge service can arrange airport transfers, car hire and practical assistance before arrival. Depending on the villa, house staff, childcare or a private chef may also be available, with meals prepared at the property and, in selected homes, more elaborate dining experiences on the terrace.
During the stay, the team can organise wellness treatments, boat trips, restaurant reservations and other personalised experiences. This support helps guests combine time at the villa with days exploring beaches, towns and neighbouring islands without having to plan every detail themselves.
The Balearic Islands offer a broad range of beaches, from long sandy stretches in Majorca to sheltered coves in Menorca and Ibiza. Swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and boat trips provide different ways for visitors to enjoy the coastline, while coastal paths and inland routes reveal another side of the islands.
Away from the water, each island has its own character. Majorca combines mountain villages, markets and Palma’s old town; Menorca is known for historic towns and quieter landscapes; Ibiza brings together rural surroundings and its established club scene; and Formentera retains a smaller scale and relaxed rhythm.
Together, these different landscapes, activities and atmospheres mean there is something for everyone across the Balearic Islands, from families looking for easy days by the sea to couples and groups of friends combining beaches, culture and evenings out.
